The camp is organized at a beautiful base camp near Manali in peaceful location close to the pine forest with scenic views on the Beas river valley. It’s a tradition style Himachali mud and wood house where students stay in bunk beds. Knowledge is taught in classroom while students go out in the surrounding forest trails for the field assignments.
The location is conveniently accessible from across India and abroad. Participants can travel to Delhi by train or bus and take an overnight bus (redbus.in) to Manali. From there grab an auto or do a short hike to the boot camp. The camp starts at 10am on Sunday so people can reach Delhi on Saturday afternoon and take a 6pm overnight bus to reach Manali early morning. The camp ends at 4pm the next Saturday so people leave by overnight bus to reach Delhi early morning Sunday and take a train or flight later in the morning back home.
